West along the 401, and we're already going that way

Brighton is where our western run starts to open up. Our Frankford yard sits north of Trenton, which puts Brighton a short hop down Highway 2 or the 401 — close enough that we treat it as home turf rather than a long-distance delivery with a long-distance price attached.

If you've been told your address is outside somebody's zone, or quoted a delivery surcharge for being "out past Trenton", it's worth a second call. Ours comes from the other direction.

What Brighton jobs usually look like

Two things drive bin work around here. The first is property turnover near the water — Presqu'ile and the shoreline south of town bring cottages and seasonal places that change hands, get winterized, get renovated, or finally get cleared out after decades of accumulation. That's classic roll-off work.

The second is rural acreage. Once you're off the town grid and onto the concession roads, "clean-up" means outbuildings, old fencing, brush piles, farm scrap and whatever the last owner left behind the barn. Those jobs are bigger than people estimate, which is why we'd rather talk it through before dropping a bin that turns out to be two sizes too small.

Five sizes, and which one to pick

For a cottage or seasonal clear-out, most people land on the 14 or 18 yard — enough for furniture and building material without paying for air. Whole-property jobs go to the 20. Driveway-friendly household work goes to the 8. And the 5 yard is rubble, dirt and fill only — that's the one for concrete, brick, patio stone and soil, where weight rather than volume is the limit.

Storage containers and flat-deck

If a renovation means emptying the house before you can start, a storage container on site beats renting a unit across town. We rent those too, and we run flat-deck service when something needs relocating rather than scrapping.

Working west from Brighton

Brighton anchors the western end of our run, and we go past it — Codrington, Carrying Place, and on toward Colborne. If you're somewhere between Trenton and Cobourg, ask. The honest answer is that the further west you are the more it helps to give us a little notice, but the area is real, not aspirational.
